So i've got 30 hours in this game
but srly I cant win anything with a keyboard rofl.

Is there any good players on pc who plays with keyboard?

Yes, the 10% of teh community plays with pad. The others are playin with keyboard or fightstick, I play with keyboard and I can execute 1 frame combos and SJC cancels with Ibuki. Playing with keyboard isnt wrong.

joystick or keyboard all the way. setting space to up works even better and allows standing 720s with ease compared to even a joystick because you cut out the diangols. back down forward space back down forward space + 3p, you can do it in an instant with practice.

Can I ask what the advantage of useing a gamepad over the keyboard is?
I mean, I can't do that Z move on a 360 controller, but useing WASD, it's as simple as hitting "DSD". I always overshoot and accidently go "Down- foward- up" to do a Hadukan, but with the keyboard, it's just "SD". I just don't get it.

I use vanilla SF4's control scheme. asdzxc and directional keys.

I had a huge jump in my win rate when I switched from pad to keyboard, and another substantial increase when I went from keyboard to HitBox.

Really is no right answear. There are good players using all three choises. Up to you what you prefer or can aford.

I would imagine the need to press down two keys to do any sort of diagonal move would be really difficult no?

Not really. About ten years ago or so, I was an XBOXHUEG fan of MUGEN, and the first few releases did not support gamepads, so we had to get used to playing on keyboard, and despite the fact that I've lost some of my prowess through the years, I was even able to do 360 motions on WASD. All in all, getting diagonals to register isn't as difficult as you might think.

there's nothing wrong with the keyboard if you map your keys to a layout similar to many arcade sticks:

WASD for movement
OP[ for punches
KL: for kicks

all specials and supers are really easy to execute. here are some examples:

fireball - down right + P
red fireball - left down right + P
fei's chicken wing - left down right up + K
ryu's ultra 1 - (down right) x2 + PPP
zangief's spd - same as chicken wing (270 degrees + punch)

nothing difficult. you don't have to press the diagonals due to SF4's input leniency. this will work for all fighters, including games running off an emulator
