No Sound Whatsoever

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition has no sound whatsoever.

Street Fighter x Tekken has sound and so do all of my other games.
I've tried re-verifying the integrity of the games files, and even re-installed it & still no luck.

If anybody could assist me that would be great.

the windows volume control can set the sound per program. is the sound enabled there?
is the sound enabled in the game options?

i have the exact same problem, i have only just installed the game but there is no music or sound effects although funnily when i started the story part had sound.

Problem solved. Friend of mine came over and muted it in the Windows Mixer.

I have this same problem. Just installed windows 8.1, and now when I run the game, all the intro vids have sound, but the game itself has no sound.

alright so I found a fix: https://steamcommunity.com/app/45760/discussions/0/34096318806982826/

goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe and run DXSETUP.exe

it wokred actually but then i went into fullscreen with Alt+Enter and it went away i restarted game and it happend again bruh
