Making a button a special move
In the 3DS launch of SF4, I was able to give each button different attacks for each character, with variations depending on how I played that character.
For example, I had the L and R triggers set to Seth's teleport attacks, with A and B being Shoryuken and Sonic Boom, for easy access to each move.
I also had Ryu's controls set to A as Hadoken and B as Shoryuken, and X as Tatsumaki Senpuyaku.
What I was wondering is: Can I do the same with my gamepad on PC? And, if so, how?

Sorry you cant
Actually, you can, but not within the game itself. If you are a keyboard player, you can program in keyboard macros using an external program (though I recommend getting used to the manual controls anyway - the 3DS version's control asignments were to get around the limitations of the system rather than make the game easier). Pad and stick players are out of luck.

3DS version....lol. My niece has the 3DS version, and that game is totally broken. Lot of impossible combos are possible in the 3DS version, mostly charger combos, because on 3DS, you dont have to charge, e.g. you can spam sonic boom faster than you could spam tiger shot.
Also, he wouldnt even have that many keys, to make a macro for every special, taking the fact that every input gets mirrored when you are on the other side ingame.
