[Requesting Fix] Fatal Error: Direct3D

"An error occured in the Direct3D device"
This message appears after choosing multiplayer and right when the game displays my PC Specs.

I have the latest DirectX installed so i dont understand why i keep getting this error. help??

Btw. for graphics i have AMD Radeon R7 200 series.
DirectX 11

I think it only seems to crash when i have background images enabled during the game. because when i set my background quality to LOW and theres no graphics behind my characters it doesnt crash.

i had a similar issue, uninstall all display drivers- search for display driver uninstaller

nevermind http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html newest version is .1 at the end- uninstall in safe mode, reccomended settings

i had to await a windows update for the ccc[amd/ati] suite to install display driver properly, had to turn off my avg too- but after all that hassle, when i finally installed the display driver, it worked again. hope you succeed

a.k.a. you need the latest drivers- amd/ati just released some a day or two ago

he is saying to do a clean reinstall using DDU utility. When updating your driver, you should aways do a clean install either using a utility like DDU or do it manually by deleting certain keys in the registry.

have you been to your graphics card maker's website to get the latest driver/software? i had to uninstall and re-install using safe mode[with network] it took me quite a few tries

i solved my problem. i'm not too sure if this will apply to you also, but... My issue was a hardware issue. I had a faulty graphics card so the company i bought the part from shipped me a brand new one for free and havent had issues with USFIV or any other game since. cheers!

Huh, that's pretty cool
