turn off your FIREWALLS
TRY TURNING OFF YOUR WINDOWS FIREWALL/INTERNET SECURITY FIREWALL AND YOUR ROUTERS FIREWALL IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY BAD EXPERIENCE IN ONLINE MATCH. IM NOT SAYING ITS 100 PERCENT WILL WORK ON YOU. BUT IT REALLY HELPS BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE

and you can use MAC filtering instead of WPA/WEP. wep/wpa add some overhead in terms of calculations needed to encrypt/decrypt the traffic. The exact impact greatly depends on the processing power of the network device, it can vary from 5% to 30% of the maximum throughput.

Turning the SPI firewall off on your router is a good idea but having your windows/other firewall on the PC on makes no difference if you've added the game to the exception list.

Caps are the people that are pissed off at the people complaining about a game yet when being told what to do fail to apply the solution... Also Microsoft Windows has always been an annoying ♥♥♥♥♥ OS to begin with It's a Corporation what else to expect...

It happens to other games in my list at times...

It is. And that is the real problem. Wireless connection and online gaming do not go together.

Also, taking your firewall down? Bad idea.

Evidently you do if you have to take your firewall down.

And mine is fine with the firewall. The difference? Wired. So, I have a more reliable connection and I get to keep my machine safe. If I had to choose, however, I'd be opting for the firewall. A lot more important than playing any video game.

online runs pretty much perfect for me but I don't use my firewall when I'm playing and I don't have a router
I've run into a few guys where it ran perfectly but I've also run into MANY people who still lag really really badly.
I've even managed to play some guys from europe and have a stable enough connection to hit one frame links.

I don't see how having a Firewall on would affect online performance. If anything, having it on would keep you from joining games.

You're adorable for thinking that.

And you're adorable for trying to score cheap points. You know what I meant. If not, turn off your firewall. You'll learn quick enough.
I do have a Wireless router sitting nearby my computer , the computer itself is plugged in it with a cable ... it's really just there so that my tablet also have the internet. :P

and yes I've noticed much better performance after turning off the router Internal firewall , well it's not the first thread which mention this too.

and a question .... did you had to use caplock on your thread?

No problems in endless for me. Ranked is sketchy. Some matches are great and others are complete booty.
