USF4 for Mac

Is there any talk about Capcom supporting USF4 on Mac if so can someone give me some more information. Please and Thanks!

Protip go get a copy of windows "off the internet" and use bootcamp or something because there's no talk of it being supported on Mac really. Sorry dude.

SF4 is not, and for the foreseeable future, will not be supported on Mac.



Feel free to disprove me if Capcom states otherwise.

If your hard drive is big enough and you've got a lot of free space, bootcamp it. I hate using the Windows OS, but unfortunately, Mac supported games that are actually worth playing are few and far between. I don't believe that you can install Windows using a downloaded copy, however, so I would suggest just asking around to see if anyone you know still has a copy of 7 laying around that you can borrow for a day. There were a couple of things I had to transfer over using a USB drive in order for the computer to recognize some of the built-in hardware, so I would just do a little bit of research before jumping straight into it, just in case you haven't gone through the process before. It's pretty simple and doesn't take long at all to do though, so you should be fine.

Bootcamp it. I'm running it on a rMBP 15" (mid 14). Tried it with wine and cider but that causes glitches and online doesn't work. Tried Parallels and that causes performance issues. Do yourself a favor and if you really like to game on a Mac just bootcamp it. It's not hard to get a hand on a copy of win7 and the bootcamp assistant takes care of drivers required for your mac. It runs without a problem, even on a MBP 13" (mid 12).

Everything else isn't going to happen or is way too much of a hassle.
