What is the default number order for 8-button arcade strick?

I messed up the wiring on my stick, need to fix the order but I can't find a picture with a number diagram for arcade sticks. Its always xbox letters or ps shapes.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Does the USB Game Controllers control panel help any? Search for USB Game Controller and you can tap the buttons on the stick to see which number lights up.

It does, but I dont know if its supposed to be. My wiring needs to be adjusted.

2 3 4 5
1 9 10 6

which corresponds to:
B X Y LB
A LT RT RB

you're welcome. some arcade sticks have the names of the buttons on the pcb. if this is not the case you could just connect the buttons randomly and go into training mode with input display on.
