Politically incorrect opinions are not tolerated and deleted I'm sure.
Politically correctness is the new-age Nazism.
I agree. For awhile the tournaments have all looked the same. The same people using the same characters. I wish that they would expand to other characters, but they are there to win so I understand why they don't.
On the other hand if people could beat them then we would have new faces.
I just hope Ricky never shows up with ridiculous outfits and stuff again, because that makes me cringe.
And yes, Rufus is boring as hell to watch.
In Turkish there's an idiom for that: Ne oldum delisi. Basically it means an upstart, getting hold of a great sum of money which he had never earned before and spending that money idiotically to induce awe.
For example, he can buy a $20K car, which would suffice and satisfy his transportation need but to make people go "WOW" he does buy a Bugatti for 500K. That's a Ne oldum delisi there.
So when Ricky struck her lottery, he wore ludicrous feminine clothes and 3 inch long fake nails. However I still didn't feel any vicarious embarassment as she was a newborn and stretching her arms out.
My mother had a friend whose son got into this same thing and only thing she was complaining was "real women are not like that, he is doing the stereotypical feminine behaviour". And Turkish society is mid-eastern, patriarchic society. Imagine that.
If you were to ask me how does a female run and how does a male run, my answer would be same for the both (I am a male who deems himself as sexist by the way) however, people who are not in a woman's body tend to exaggerate the behaviour to make themselves feel like a woman; hence the 3 inch fake nails while playing a game which requires button precision.
We had a whole multi-page discussion on transgenders, and not one flamewar broke out. It's a Christmas Miracle!
Indeed. My 'great war of our time' post came right after the initial and now deleted salvo.
Dude... It's just that... Ricky's hair is just fabulous and deems her internet-resistant :P
Now seriously. I found out about all this now on this topic. Don't follow competitions much but always thought he was a little girlish, now I know why. :)
EDIT: One more girl in the scene! :D
