Ultra Street Fighter IV

Vezi statistici:
Sick of players "losing connection" when they're actually just disconnecting
Hayuno, Professional Mountain Goat among other assclowns are doing this all the time, just played against Hayuno who is 3k pp and 6k bp as zangief, won twice in a row, and by winning I mean having the game winning combo "in progress" and he just pops his "lost connection to opponent" thing and goes straight back online.

And yes I am 100% salty since this happened 5 times today in a matter of an hour.

Yeap, it happens. Let's play, I'm not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, don't worry.

It happened to me too. I played agaisnt this guy, and the connection was pretty good. I bodied him the first round and before starting the next, the screen will freeze and the "lost connection to opponent" message will appear. I immediately searched back for an opponent and saw the same guy right away. I challenged him on ranked and we started playing. I perfected him again the first round against his thawk, and then before the start of the second round, the same message appears.

Coincidence? The guy had close to 3kpp.
I think I just played the same Guy you did, I destroyed him in the first round, and 2nd round was the laggiest mess I have ever played. Overhead overhead overhead and I couldn't do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it. literally held standback the entire match

That happened to me as well. They lag on purpose and abuse sweeps and throws. I just take the loss, move on, and never play them again.
Well, a normal day in 'grind fighter 4 if the opponent is better quit edition 2015'.
I think the game has a high odds of disconnecting between matches.

Disconnection seems just as common for me when I lose the first match as when I win the first match.

lol. I guess this place is as good as any. To the Decapre player that I played the other day with T Hawk, sorry for the disconnect. The game closed on me without reason and didn't even give me a crash message.
Had my share of losing connection to opponent after they lost a round but nothing wrong happening when they win today too.

"But nobody is cheating!"

Yes, yes tthey are, this is more of it. What these people are doing is using a net tool program or software firewall that simulates a disconnection by blocking off the port to steam and thus dropping the connection. They turn it on and steam immediately has no access and the game thinks the internet went out; they turn it off and it reconnects right away (as steam will constantly make attempts to reconnect to itself) and they're back in biz. It hasn't been that common but it's looking like it's the new way to shortchange people and never lose PP/BP. Hence why all of a sudden we're seeing these 9000 BP scrubadoo's running around all over the place.
Yep, exactly. They "lose connection" but when you go back into ranked they're looking for more people to so called play against. assclowns.
pls guys make screenshots and post them, these player got no honour and are no sportsman.
Definitely more people doing it now. I encountered a scrub on endless doing it to preserve his win streak.

He had like 16 wins in a row when I joined his lobby, lost the first game and then beat him in the second game and as im about to finish him off with a massive life lead he lag switch and up comes "Lost connection to Opponent" and then kicks me from his lobby.

Its a pity Steam aren't strict like Sony are on PSN, they'll ban you if fart in there direction.
This is pretty standard when fighting beginners. There's a phase that a lot of beginners go through when they wrestle with the frustration of a fighting game. It's nothing to lose sleep over and it's actually more a compliment to your own ability versus their own.

There's also the issue that Steam may occasionally drop the connection. Unintentional DCs do happen.
Actual connection drops are pretty rare I think.

It just happened to me again, the game was smooth then I won a round by almost perfect and the guy "lost connection".
