It happens.
Those buttons will never work unless Microsoft releases a complete driver. The driver there is only adds support for the stock Xbox One controller. Xbone arcade sticks have a different build and there's no official or unofficial way to make those buttons work. There's a chance that MS will add support for Xbone sticks to Windows 10 since KI comes out to that. All you can do is wait.
About the PS3 stick: Usually PS3 sticks work plug and play, what stick is that exactly?
