Alex=Abel
Has anyone ever noticed that this could be? They are both grapplish characters and also have a couple of similar moves. Physically they are very alike too, and that would explain (canon-wise) why Abel is missing from sf3 ( got his memory back or something).
I dunno, what do you guys think?

Um... isn't Abel a "failed" Seth clone?

Abel "IS" a failed clone made for Bison. stop propagating these false stuff. Canon wise? SF3 had no real story behind it, it just shows you their ending which never really gave any backstory. Alex's story is just a fight with Ryu, just like Sagats story. If you said Abel was like Urien and Gill I would've have completely agreed with you but no, no you did not

wow, sorry I almost disturbed the deep story that street figher's fandom has carefuly weaved.

Abel is a failed clone,he was made after Seth and was some kind of prototype for Cammy.Abel use an MMA fightingstyle which is similar to Alex ones and thats the reason why Alex is not in SFIV.
However Alex was in SF3 to take revenge for his friend,who was attacked by the Illumination.He fight his way throug the Tournament and defeated Gill. After that Gill fight Akuma,lost,was killed and resurected himself. Some time right after the tournament Alex faced Ryu and he just wasn't able to defeat him.

Seth said he is the imperfect one who fled. Soulless (ultra 1) is another proof he is a clone as his eyes changes texture colors.
