Speed up music tempo as time/health runs out
I remember in SF2 as the time would run out or the health of one of the players was very low, it would make the music tempo play faster and faster. It somewhat made for a more dramatic ending. I miss that feature. I wonder if Capcom has thought about adding that as an option to USF4??

But the music in SF4 does change when characters are low on health and/or have a full revenge meter.

Music also changes when you drop below 15 seconds remaining. The change is more gradual than the abrupt change when someone gets full revenge meter or is at low health.

In what way does it change? I can't believe I haven't noticed it. Maybe it's a lot more subtle than it used to be...

Start up a player vs player match by yourself and just let the time run out and you can hear for yourself.

Just remember that only the stage music changes. Character themes don't.

Maybe you play with Rival Themen?Rival Music doesn't change in matches.
Rival Music sound also better and it has ever annoyed me if the music changed.

Just go to training mode, set the revenge gauge to Normal and beat up the dummy until it drops to low health. The music will change to a different, more intense loop. Then set the revenge gauge to Refill or Infinite. Then you'll get another loop that plays when both characters have a full ultra ready.

Well... Just followed your instructions... didn't notice any difference...
Just the same music, with the same tone, etc...etc...

the music definitely changes once you have low health or when time is running out...I really like the implementating of that feature in SFIV.

The music DOESN'T change... it is STILL the same song...
It doesn't have to do with SPEED!

All the variations of the Training Stage music are in this video. The 'both players have a full revenge gauge' loop plays at 1:40 to 1:55, then the "low health" loop plays all the way to the end.

In SF4 the music switches to a completely different and more intense arrangement when health is low/RG is full. It's not done in the same way as in SF2, but it also serves the purpose of making the fight feel more dramatic. That's why I said the music changes. It has nothing to do with tempo.
