Question about alternate costumes

Hi! I bought pre-order ultra street fighter IV where is was written "Customers who do not yet own Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition can buy this package to pre-purchase Ultra Street Fighter IV. Pre-purchase includes the 2014 Challengers Costume Pack for free." But i not have any additionally costume in a game:/

From the store page for Ultra Street Fighter IV:

"Pre-Order the Ultra Street Fighter IV digital upgrade or full game to receive the 2014 Challengers Costume Pack! Consists of alternate costumes for each of the five new characters: Jungle Elena, Medieval Hugo, Pirate Poison, Wizard Rolento and Gladiator Decapre."

It's for the new characters in Ultra.

prepurchasing the FULL version (30$/€) should also give you ALL the costumes from arcade edition...if you don't have them and you did indeed purchase the full version and not just the upgrade then you can contact capcom, they will fix your issue.

Yep, you bought the wrong thing. But they'll probably fix it to give you the other costumes since there is no other option to buy complete SSF4AE right now. If they don't you'll need to buy the costumes seperatly because as it is right now you just bought SSF4AE + USF4 Upgrade which is not USF4 standalone and only gives new character costumes. Standalone USF4, boxed and all, gives complete package with everything. Upgrade only gives new character costumes and that's only if you preorder. After release new character costumes will be sold seperately too.

But all in all, it doesn't really matter much. You can still see your rivals use costumes even if you don't have it and if you feel like you need new look so bad you can always mod your characters. Your rivals won't see them, but who cares.

Am I imagining things or was there a stand-alone version of USF4 on steam before? Right now the only things available are the Ultra upgrade dlc and a bundle of AE+Ultra upgrade dlc.

So the SSF4: AE+Ulta upgrade bundle isn't the full game they're talking about?

If you already have all the costumes in AE and buy the ultra upgrade you will still have all the previous costumes?
