For the love of God....Benchmark your damn pc.....
and adjust the settings accordingly or gtfo the MP portion. Why do people insist on trying to join games with anything less than an A rank!

Nah, I never played you. I would remember that name lol It just baffles me that people won't lower settings for smoother gameplay when their pc can't handle it. Yet the join, and join, and join. The game is not a smooth online since the transition so why add to it with B,C,D and E rank pc's. YES! people try with E rank!

Never seen an E rank before but I've made the mistake countless times of not checking their rank before I accept the match. The least I'm willing to accept is a B since I always choose training stage with B ranks and they get a nice 60fps.

to be fair, some new people might not know that they have to do the benchmark to get the ranks. so pointing this out in this thread might help :)

But when you first go into Multiplayer, it requires a benchmark first?

to be honest, i dont know if that was the case. somoe time has past since i played it for the very first time.
whenever you change any graphic setting you will get the lowest rank and need to redo the benchmark. and since it doesnt force you to do it before you enter omp i doubt that you had to do it when you played it the first time.

This is something I always questioned myself...
if I change any settings, I am ALWAYS asked to go to Benchmark... I CAN'T go online without doing the Benchmark test...
But there are people who manage to go online with a Rank E!!!!

i dont get it either..an intel hd 4000 can run the game on A rank on low settings. why is is so hard for ppl to do it? low settings still looks better than consoles

found the reason for it...
when you go direct into online mp thats the case.
i for myself always start the acarde mode with the option to get into a ranked online mp match and there the benchmark isnt forced on you which leads to a E rank when you changed your setting and did not do it by yourself.

B-ranker here. No it doesn't. It looks worse...by a huge margin.

Changing any settings in the graphics options will drop your "Benchmark" to E grade till you run the benchmark again, even if you were previously an A grade.

It has happened to me twice just by turning V SYNC on and off.

It baffles me that the pc version doesn't force fixed fps, devs would be blind not to notice how drastically smooth and variable fps affects gameplay.

I think 9 times out of 10 when you run into an E rank opponent, they've just forgot to run their benchmarks, most computers should run this game without much hassle. If you don't get an A in benchmark however thats gotta go. First thing I'd do is disable all anti aliasing and switch to 720p, it looks fine, its what the console versions run at. I think soft shadows can be a strain on low end gpu's as well, and it looks quite fine without that as well.

I have an A rank, but a friend invited me to a game before doing the benchmark. So you can be doing multiplayer with friends without benchmarking.

I still occasionally get 1-3 seconds of slowdown randomly during games. Even during training when I'm the only one moving.

I dont know. I just get horrible lag spikes from crappy ISP then people get mad at me and tell me I suck
