HELP! Mad Catz TE2 Xbox One won't work with PC
Yeah I ♥♥♥♥ed up. My local gamestore said they only do in-store credit which is cool and all but THEY DONT HAVE ANY OTHER FIGHT STICKS.

So yeah I pluged my Killer Instinct fight stick (Xbox One) into my computer and the lights come on and everything but thats it, nothing works. Pleas HELP!

I've been playing with an Xbox 360 controller and an Xbox One controller on my Win10 PC everything works fine.

Info: Windows 10 64 Bit
Wired Mad Catz TE2 Xbox One fight stick.

Edit: Found the fix

"i case you are still around, i got the 6-button layout to work again @ win10 : if you connect it, it gets recognised as Xbox gaming device, but you cant use it as a gamecontroller. so you need to right-click it in the device-manager and update -driver -> search on computer -> chose driver from a list -> take the OLDER driver (6.2.11059.0), install that driver, restart the PC, it works again as 6-button-stick!
(you probably need to manually install the old driver from there to get the option in your device-manager:

i hope this helps some guys out there :)"

I also had to rewire the thing to get it to work and then change the buttons in game.

I'd expect that they will fix this before Killer Instinct comes over to PC next year. But until then, Xbone sticks dont work on PC.

I tried updating from the list but I couldn't find the older driver you speak of... Desperate for help!

the only reason for me to get windows 10 was killer instinct... ironicly, my arcade stick doesn't work on win10 when it did fine on win7. thanks obama.

If you have the PS4 TE2 MadCatz actually has official drivers for it and they actually work on PC

Old thread, but I have an Xbox TE2 and sometimes it will recognize the triggers, sometimes it won't. I am trying to figure out what determines what it does. Anyway, swapped the buttons (breaking one of them in the process) and now I have an SF 6 button layout.

Has anybody had Steam recognizing the triggers? So strange
