Possible to use PS4 headset on PC?

Like the title says I have a standard wired PS4 headset that I would like to use on USFIV, the microphone on my end works (but very low) but I can't hear people through my headset only my TV speakers. Is it possible to get it working like normally? Also I use a MadCatz TE2 and there isn't a USB jack on the stick itself (obviously) so I plug it into the PC maybe since I can't plug it into the stick it doesn't register properly? Or maybe I have to do something in the settings that I don't know about..?

How to Connect a Sony Wireless Headset to PC

Though most Sony wireless headsets are designed to be used with PS3 or PS4 gaming consoles, they can also be hooked up to a computer. There are two different methods for this, depending on the type of connectivity the headset uses.
For USB Headsets
1.Plug the headset's USB adapter into a free USB port in the computer tower and make sure it lights up.
2.Turn on the headset by holding down the power button for a few seconds until it powers on.
3.Open the Control Panel and choose Sound or right click on the audio icon in the taskbar and choose Properties. This should display all audio output devices. Select the headset. If Windows automatically detects the headset, audio will switch to the headphones and this step can be skipped.
4.For PCs without Bluetooth, a USB Bluetooth adapter is required. Plug this into a free USB port and follow the manufacturer's setup instructions. If the computer is equipped with Bluetooth, skip this step.
5.Turn the headset on using the power button and set it to discovery mode.
6.Go to Devices and Printers in the PC's Start menu and click Add a Device. Windows should find the headset, and it can then be synced to the computer and used as an audio output.

Thanks for your reply but thats just telling me how to hook up my headset to the PC, I have the headset working its just not working as I hoped. I have the headset set to "Default Communication Device" in the sound settings. It works on Skype fine just not on USFIV. If I switch it to "Default Device" I can hear the game audio through the headset but I dont want that either I would like game audio through my TV speakers and voice through the headset,

How did you get a TE2 to work on PC?!

when i try to plug it in, it recognizes it and i am able to test it but no sound is coming out.

In my case i just plugged it in.. Right click your Sound icon - Playback Devices.

Then i just had to set "Wireless Stereo Headset" as default and everythings working fine..
Testet in Win7 and Win10

Hi, I`ve got one of the PS4 4Gamers headsets and when I tried using it on PC, before we logged into Overwatch my friends could hear me on Discord but when I loaded OW it appeared to mute my mic on Discord... Does anybody know how to rectify this?
