Audio/music through the game SF4 Arcade Edition Steam??

When I play the game while listening to music; the sound goes down and everybody on the other side is able to hear the audio.
this is very weird and annoying, it never happened with GFWL before?
Any fix for this issue.
I want to listen to music while playing without having everybody else in the lobby listening to my music and complaining to me lol...... SMH

This may help. The game seems to have a habit of using the "Stereo Mix" device as the "microphone" for the game. You are not the only one I've encountered online who has this happen to them, that's for sure.

Anyway, check this:

Right-click on the speaker icon in your task bar (next to the clock).
.. click Recording Devices
.. look for Stereo Mix in the list

You can disable the device if you do not record videos of game play or broadcast on Twitch. If you do, then double check that it is not listed as a communication device or a default device.

If there's a green check mark on it, then select something else and click the Set Default button on it (for both "Default Device" and "Default Communication Device").

Of course, it's easier to simply disable it if you can do that. Right-click on Stereo Mix and choose Disable.

Click "OK" when you're done.
