xbox 360 controller on windows xp 32 sp3

someone play with xbox 360 controller on windows xp??? game running, but i cant install the driver correctly. SOMEONE! I NEED YOUR HELP!_))

make sure you have service pack 2 installed or it wont work

im already install this driver 100 times, but it doesn't works at all! conroller is still have a question sign.

The Xbox 360 Controller for Windows needs a powered USB port. If the controller is not working correctly, try changing the controller to a different USB port. Avoid using USB hubs or the front ports on a PC. Unpowered hubs or ports might not provide enough power for the controller. For best results, plug the controller into another USB port on the back of the computer.

i think your problem is the part where you said 'windows xp'. you gotta at least go with windows 7, it shouldn't be that expensive these days. you got nothing but more pain in different forms coming trying to stick with xp

nope(( i changed the usb ports, and it doesnt work(. when i try isntall the driver from right catalog, istall is running, but then "unable to install software". something like that

jigawatt, i know that windows xp is pain it the ass now, but i have a low config pc and game runs realy fast on xp... just 1 problem with my controller

Press Start > Right click My Computer> Manage

1. Enter the Device Manager
2. Right Click "Controller" which most likely has a "!" on it.
3. Then choose to manually update your driver.
4. Pick the option to browse your computer for drivers.
5. You will see an option for Common Microsoft Controllers.
6. Choose the driver X-Box 360 Controller for Windows Version: 2.1.0~

i did it! i just instal the lod 1.0 FRANCE version instead 1.2 english and it works perfectly! :D i cant stop laughing :D thank for your help ))))
