Titles not unlocking.
Not sure what's up with this one, but I've been playing this game on PC since Arcade Edition came out, and for some reason, the online matches just stopped unlocking titles for me.

I have Fledgling Fighter, Bottom Feeder and Chump Fighter, but nothing after that ever unlocked. And I'm pretty damn certain it should've, since I used to have a B Zangief and the next in the line of titles to unlock would be to win 30 online matches.

Neither of the Jack, Queen, King and Ace titles ever unlocked either.

I waited to ask about it until Ultra was out, hoping it would fix itself, but alas.

Anything you guys recommend?

nothing has become available for me outside of the initial ultra characters. It says i unlock new titles and icons and all i did was play as juri, dudley, and gouken. but the titles are only for poison, hugo, elena...

The titles you're looking for are unlocked by completing the trials.
I thought my copy was broken too because I thought all these titles are unlocked with online matches.

Once you got like 60% of the trials done, you should have all the titles you were looking for.

There are also some unlocked by finishing arcade mode. For example, you can get the red character specific titles by finishing arcade on a higher difficulty level. I forget which difficulty setting.

The titles you're talking about are unlocked by completing trials now. To get all of them, you have to complete 95% of the trials. This is for the titles you asked about, now ALL of them.

To get all titles for a character, you need to:
- Complete 22 trials for that character (completing 24 just gives you their flag icon)
- Finish Arcade Mode (blue)
- Finish Arcade Mode on Hardest (red)

You don't need to finish Arcade twice to get the colored titles. Just finish once in Hardest and you unlock both.
