Payed for full Ultra SF4 got Super SF4 AE

Pre-ordered the full digital copy of Ultra on muve.pl. Yesterday I got the key, activated it, but Steam downloads and launches Super SF4 AE instead of Ultra. WTF?

I'm trying to download again, but I can already see the files that are being created are from SSF4 AE again. :/

I did also own the old SSF4 AE but I payed for the full digital copy of Ultra. Now it only shows I own Ultra but downloads the old game only.

Any1 else having this problem? Help.

check the DLC tab in the Steam game properties. If it has Ultra in there, then you just need to enable it, or disable & re-enable it. If it doesn't, then send a support ticket to Steam about it.

Or write a mail to muve.pl. Perhaps they gave you a wrong key.

Under the DLC tab it only shows "Super Street Fighter IV: Fantasy 2014 Challengers Pack".

Already sent a message to muve, but have to wait for the response. Maybe indeed they gave me the wrong key or something. Still its weird that it shows that I have Ultra activated and that it downloads Ultra.

Not weird at all. Read the pinned topics. SSF4AE got renamed, using the exact same app ID, to USF4, for ease of deployment when upgrading existing owners. Everyone sees they have Ultra, but if you only paid for Super, Super is all you get when running the game.

Wrong topic / misunderstandign the post. They paid for Ultra and appear to have a previous version of the game.

OP, has the artwork changed for the menus? The title screen may still say SSF4 AE, but that's actually normal for Ultra. They didn't change the title screen.

The title screen did change for me. It's also weid that OP would get the preorder bonus costumes and not the upgrade itself.

The title screen is different in the PC version, it also has a new intro video and everything, it was only the console versions that kept the original SSFIVAE intro.

is Muve.pl a legit retailer? what does your account history say you activated? (drop down menu, account details)

Nothing has changed, menu is the old Super SF4 AE, don't have any new characters to choose. I can clearly see that the files in the game folder are Super SF4 AE only (some files on the dlc characters from ssfae only like yun/yan, ssf4.exe file name etc.).

Dunno what's wrong. It just seems to be downloading the wrong game.

Yes, it is. They even offered the bonus costumes for the new chars as the digital pre-order bonus.

My account history shows this:

New DLC <- (Ultra SF4 ???)
Strike Vector Free Weekend <- (free)

I am neither in the wrong topic nor misunderstanding anything. Read the post right before mine, and take note of its last statement. That is specifically what I was addressing. I am plenty aware that he's complaining that he doesn't have Ultra when he paid for it, but he made a clear statement that "it's weird that it shows I have Ultra and it downloads Ultra". That specific statement is what I addressed with my reply by saying that AE itself got renamed to Ultra, so regardless of whether he HAS Ultra or not, it WILL appear to be Ultra.

I know I'm an asshole, but believe me, I know what I reply to, when I do it, and how I do it.

I didn't buy any DLC, just the full digital version of Ultra SF4.

fine but there's no standalone version... you get all the costumes with the $30 bundle, that's true.. but you get the preorder costumes with both
