unable to play (black screen bug)

when i start the game, after skipping the capcom/criware/whatever stuff it just sits on a black screen. i can't get to even the title screen. is anyone else having this problem? i already verified the game cache and it checked out.

Try not skipping and letting game reach title screen on it's own. Let it go through cinematics and all.

Go to your steam library
right click Ultra Street Fighter IV
click Properties
click DLC
uncheck all in DLC
recheck all in DLC to reinstall
Launch game

Yo now I have black screen...can't play.

After the digital update have the exact same problem...

Then i try:

1- Go to Documents\CAPCOM\SUPERSTREETFIGHTERIV erase all files (to reset config and all), didn't work

2- Reinstall the game from scracht, didn't work

3- Reinstall all DLC, didn't work...

I'm having a similar but slightly different problem. My game is getting stuck on the demo match screen (e.g Rufus vs Cody) when I press start it just skips to a different demo match. I tried accepting a mates invite to skip the start up but then it got stuck on a black screen as well. Can't make it to the menu screen

Update, if i uninstall all the DLC (even USF 4 Digital upgrade) i can play the Super Street Fighter Version.

Fixed Mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥!!!!!

The problem is that your pc don't have the lastest codec to play the dumb movie intro.

Just install "http://downloads.ddigest.com/software/download.php?sid=1089&ssid=0&did=5&rid=178216"

that have the last codec and the game work now.
