is SFV:AE more fun to play than USFiV?
The combos in usf4 are pretty damn hard to execute. I literally have to press a lot faster that what i would normally do in older SF titles. Lets not compare about graphics, SF5 wins no contest. Just the gameplay please. idc about online.

I play IV on the keyboard and I still have no problems and have played since SFII in the arcades. But I heard that they made moves in V easier for beginners so maybe compared to that it's harder.
depends what you find fun, sf5 is defo built for the more casual player and its quick to get going, nothing requires any practice etc. Whereas 4 needs alot of training and practice, just whatever you find fun i suppose

I find SF5 more fun as a whole, SF4 is fun as well but it gets boring kind of fast

I'm curious: what gets boring about 4 that doesn't about 5?

Probably because the risk/reward difference between the two games, but it's mostly my own preference.

I say for my personal experience...
SF4 ultra edition is still the better game... i still play it.
As SF5 AE is fine too but its dlc paywall tactics are ugly.
The story is a joke
its perfomance is nice
and its fighters is fine in my eyes... but i think SF4 Ultra still is the better package...
I also would say that sf5 AE gets much faster boring as SF4 UE
It also has more to offer
i got all 3 character passes for sf5 and still have to wait for the rest of fighters...

Even if you wanna talk about graphics, I say USFIV still wins (I really like posterization). SFV's play-doe art style looks so ridiculous considering it was released almost a decade after SFIV. SFV training stage looks like an unrendered high-school 3DS Max project.

I hated focus, so... I prefer SFV.

On graphics... I prefer SF4's art direction as it tends to be flashier (especially the ultra/super/CA whatever).

Same. I could never get into SF4's Focus Attack and FADC system. I'd rather have SF3's parry system anytime. SF4 is a great game, but it's insanely hard to pick up if you want to go beyond pulling off 2-in-1 combos. At least after putting time into KOF, GGXrd and SFV, I can get reasonably competent, whereas in SF4 is completely beyond my capability to get good, even if I sink 1000 hours into the game.

Any reasonable damage combo involves some pretty tight frame links that even with dozens of hours of practice, are still easy to mess up. Some characters like El Fuerte, Hakan and Crimson Viper are so difficult to pick up that they're almost completely out of reach for beginners and casuals.

SFV in comparison, is a lot easier to pick up and get rolling with. Even the more complex characters like Fang or Menat are a lot more clear cut in what you're supposed to do with them. It still has really tough frame link high damage combos, but at the same time, it's easy enough to pick up a BnB combo that does reasonable amounts for every character by the time you go through their trials. After sinking over 100 hours into the game and watching replays of myself and other players, I can at least say I've gotten much better than when I first bought the game. Whereas I've played SF4 from since the vanilla version came to PC 10 years ago, and I'm still garbage at the game.
