PS4 Controller not working - Help

I need help. My PS4 Controller is not working with this game.

To help I generally would say, if you don't already have it, to download DS4. Then from there just set up you hotkeys from the game to the program. I do not have this game, however I'm probably going to purchase it here shortly since it is on sale; but this has worked for other games on steam, such as Dead Island. I have also read that if you activate big picture mode on steam that it automatically synchs with a built in DS4 program. I can not confirm since I haven't tried it, however it is an option if you wish to try it.

The controller is synched with steam. It says PS4 controller and it work with steam but not ingame. In other games it works fine. The PS4 controller works normaly in Big Picture Mode and often without too.

My only adivce would be to try the ds4 program and map the inputs accordingly. If this doesn't work I apologize for the lack of help and wish you the best on figuring it out.

When I used a PlayStation 4 controller with Ultra Street Fighter IV on Steam, it worked fine for me.

I didn't need any 3rd party software.

I configured the controller like this in the in-game options:
From the Main Menu, select Options, and then select Button Config. Press right on the controller or keyboard until you see your controller listed and then configure the controller to your liking.
I configured my PS4 DS4 like this:
Square = Light Punch | Triangle = Medium Punch | R1 = Hard Punch
X = Light Kick | Circle = Medium Kick | R2 = Hard Kick
L1 = All Three Punch Buttons | L2 = All Three Kick Buttons
Share = Select | Options = Start

Have you tried clicking on the Ultra Street Fighter IV window to bring the window into focus?
If you're able to bring the window into focus, try to get it to go full-screen by press Alt + Enter.
Then try to navigate to the main menu by using the keyboard or controller.

i tryed it but it wont work. i tryed extra keyboard too, but nothing happened. For Steam and other games is everything ok. Only this game wont work for me

if you go into big picture on steam mode you configure a ps4 control and even change the light color. to go into big picture go into steam then on the top right of the screen there is a little controller icon press it. i had this problem on sr3 then this fixed it. hopes this helps
