Super SF4 vs Ultra SF4
What's the difference between the super and ultra versions? Are they both compatible? ie. super SF4 players searching will locate ultra SF4 players? and vice versa? ie. I bought the Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition... but it's labeled as Ultra Street Fighter 4 in Steam...

Super and ultra do not share the same players. There are more characters and balance changes in ultra

I had Arcade Edition for quite a while. Played some online matches but rarely found players. Then I bought Ultra last week and realized this game isn't dead like I thought. Also, I found out that I suck and need to practice a bunch lol

Ultra adds a few new characters and gameplay features like red focus and double ultras. Also has balance changes. I personally think it's worth the $15 price tag if you want more competition.

Get ultra it's the most updated version with the highest playerbase.

Ulta is the only version with a playerbase.

Also, in the unlikely event you want to play with someone who only has AE, people who own Ultra are able to play with them. The game "downgrades" to AE if you do this, including balance changes.
