Is it possible to play the Vanilla SF IV?

I would very much like to play Ryu and some other characters in their first version, is there any way to play the Arcade Edition?

Not sure if it's possible but if you have the Ultra DLC, I imagine you could just uninstall it.

In the steam properties of the game there's an option to disable DLC's, so I disabled the USFIV Digital Upgrade. I'll update the discussion later, whether it works or not.

Turn on edition select, then pick vanilla.

The DLC does not upgrade you from vanilla to Ultra, it upgrades you from AE2012 (fourth version of the game) to Ultra (fifth).

Edit: Edition select is only available with Ultra installed.
