Can't play online anymore
Hey, i recently reinstalled my OS and now have problems with USFIV.
My internet works fine so far but when i'm ingame clicking on "multiplayer" there's just a message: " Ihre Verbindung zu Steam wurde getrennt. Sie kehren zum Hauptmenü zurück."
which kinda translates to "Your connection to Steam has been disconnected. Returning to the main menu."
And that's it, i'm unable to play online anymore. Even though i'm still connected to steam via the overlay and in general. There is no firewall blocking USFIV or anything.
Does anybody here have a clue on how to fix this?

I just tried launching USF4 and have been greeted with a black screen.
It's not working for me either.

I have a black screen on game launch as well. Absolutely nothing shows up.

Keep posting if your game doesn't work ladies and gentlemen.
Looks like the username above me is attempting damage control.
Instead of you know.. fixing the actual problem!

Well, it would be best to post here, and contact them directly. That said, it actually loaded for me just now after having the window minimised for like 5 minutes.

well.... i just tried something out and suddenly had the exact same problem as you guys. but for me too, the game started after a few minutes of wait in the black screen.
didn't fix my other problem though :[

The problem is the steam cloud. Turn it off and you should be able to get online, I had the exact same issue ages ago.

For me the game takes equally as long if i disable the steam cloud.

I should be more precise, the problem the OP has with getting disconnected from Steam while trying to play multi-player; the problem is the Steam Cloud. This black screen issue is a complete mystery.

thx alot crake. my steam-cloud was off though but turning it on again solved the problem.
i think i had this one already :D
