A thousand dollars for very impressive graphics but here is the problem: it comes with NO base stations, which means people who doesnt already own another headset with those stations will have to buy those on top of the 1000$, second problem: it also has ZERO sound AND no controlls, this is going to cost almost (if not) DOUBLE what the index costs.

You guys have to lower the price or you will have almost no sale
Atleast throw base stations or controlls in the pack.

Paying off youtubers to promote the product, was wondering where most of the $1000 was going towards, because it definitely wasn't the headset since there isn't much there in manufacturing costs. Best part is that you ONLY get the headset and nothing else, no controlls, no base stations and no sound.

this is a little late for an april fools joke. why to companies think it'd buy this instead of pretty much anything more affordable? or is this part of a highball scam amongst vr headset manufacturers to make me think the quest 2 et al is reasonably priced?

This is the first time i've seen a worthy upgrade to my HTC Vive, which is even lighter than the Index, no more heavy-headed gameplay? i'm interested

90' field of view and a tiny sweet spot for $1000 US. That's a big nope for me. I am willing to pay for next gen VR. This is not it.

This is all well and good but what is the point when YOUR STREAMS ONLY DO 1080P RES MAX ? GIVE US THE OPTION TO STREAM IN 4K

So, can one PC run two of these so my wife and I can watch 3D movies together without me having to muck with two PC's?

Amazing step forward for vr!!!!! Wtg Bigscreen One of my favorite vr apps! no joke like 2k plus hours into this app! Very Under talked about app. I stream with it and talk with people on it. Happy to see them doing good, hope to keep using it for years to come!!! Maybe have to get behind one of these, i got a prescription set of glasses but i heard you can custom make lenses for it.

Definitely a step in the right direction. Not sure if I agree with the TINY form factor. Smaller is better, but not at the expense of precious FOV and no audio. Love a lot of things about this headset though, micro OLED's, the high resolution. Very nice.

Kinda makes sense though. Some people already have nicer headphones because they're into music. Those people get to use their own without inflating the cost of the headset & needing to remove the stock ones. Anyone who doesn't already have some can pick audio to their own budget & taste, anywhere from like $10 buds to whatever else, & they get to use them elsewhere for listening to music or whatever else as well, since they're not screwed into a VR headset.

Given that this headset expects you to already have base stations and controllers, it looks like they're really not targetting people who need an all-in-one solution, lol.

The FOV is a bit of a bummer though, for sure. But supposedly they're "underpromising" so that they can "overdeliver" on that point. I'd definitely prefer an accurate number over vibes, but we'll have to see I suppose.
