How do I enable NPCs?

I remember NPCs used to fill up the seats in each theater, was that removed? If not how can I enable it? I could not find a setting anywhere

They have temporarily been removed until we can update them to the new avatars, at which point they will be back.

Any timeline/tentative schedule for when they'll be back? Honestly, I miss having them just sort of around the environments. Lol

There isn't any specific date I can give yet, but it's still on our list, though it's just not a super high priority right now.

I prefer it without NPC's anyway, gives me the feeling that I'm super rich and I OWN the theater and I'm the only one allowed there. Heck yeah! Poor people stay home! lol

I do not think so, it's not a high priority for them which is understandable (its such a small feature) and this game rarely gets updated nowadays so I don't see it happening anytime soon
