Avatar 2 : The Way of the Water
Hello is there any chance BigScreen will be able to offer tickets to watch Avatar 2 in 3D - VR after its released out of theaters? I think that would be a great selling point. I'm sure the licensing would be expensive, however that works. Personally i know a lot of friends that want to see it in 3D at home in their VR headset all together in an experience like BigScreen offers.

Really hope this can be made possible!

Here's hoping it gets released on 3D bluray. Avatar looks amazing in Bigscreen in 3D.

I wouldn't know why you'd want to do that since Bigscreen's "3D" effect is very poor and doesn't even come anywhere close to an actual IMAX 3D show. I'd pay full ticket price at a theater 5 times before even thinking of watching it in this app.

I've tried several different VR 3D movie players and Big Screen (with a local file, not streamed) is as good as any of them, and the 3D effect is excellent.

Of course it's not as good as an Imax, and Avatar 2 at the cinema is incredible on an Imax, but I can't watch Imax movies in bed, or in a hotel room whenever I want.
I can do that with 3D movies on apps like Bigscreen in VR.

I second this as well, I do plenty of 3d films with my VR group and never had a single problem, it the same experience in my opinion only difference is I am at home!

Sadly this format doesn't exist. They could make a 1080p 3D version or a 4K HFR 2D version, but no disc format supports 3D above 1080p

That's what he meant. A "4K Blu-ray 3D" is a pack that includes the 2D movie in Ultra HD and the 3D movie in Full HD.
