Audio but no video in public rooms

Today I started up Bigscreen for the first time in like 3 years and checked out all the new features. I was able to see and hear video on a Rick and Morty TV channel but when I join the social public rooms (such as for movies) I can hear streaming audio perfectly fine but the video on screen is just the Bigscreen logo. Is this simply a p2p issue of my home network not being able to stream the video or perhaps something else?

Any help appreciated, thanks!

I just tried a bunch of rooms and the vast majority were working fine for me. I did not find any like you described, audio without video. Keep in mind that we probably got a bunch of new people at Christmas who may be still learning how to host a room. Try some of the bigger rooms that are mostly full, like 12/15 etc.

I don't speak for everyone just myself. My thinking is: if this was a widespread thing there'd be more threads about it.

What ended up resolving my issue was disabling my VPN while I run Bigscreen. Video and audio now both work.

I have that issue too, I have been going to rooms and asking if they also cannot see the screen other than the logo and audio only, also, I also can see rick and morty but not anyones public videos.

everything works fine thru 1 headset for me. example when i host a private room thru my index and enter the room with my quest. there is sound but no picture.

is it possible to host room with quest and enter with index? just curious if that would work and what would happen.
