I think it matters what you are using to display the movie whether it can be streamed. Try watching the movie in a browser like Chrome or Firefox and see if you have better luck.

The problem with that is that only Microsoft Edge works at 1080p/4k.

It's DMCA laws. Your headset is viewed as another screen like a splitter and they won't allow it. My theory anyways because I tried to use the Snipping Tool and it's the same thing.

You can fix that by disabling hardware acceleration in the Chrome Settings. This way the DRM is not working.

Using Chrome I had issues, but in Firefox Amazon Prime and a few others worked just fine. View your desktop with it loaded up, fullscreen and good to go. You could type in the URL into the browser in VR if you wanted too, and auto-complete may actually not make it so bad (3-4 keys). I personally full screen it on my main, then go VR(on other monitor).

Chrome uses since some releases the hardware acceleration and this is doing the drm. you can just turn it off and it works in chrome

That's it! I was having the same problem. Note that you may have to re-start Chrome for this to take effect.

I feel like this should be stickied as a lot of people are going to have this problem.

Use Firefox Browser!!! I posted about this on their Discord, and one of the fixes was Firefox; Works 200% for Netflix/Amazon Prime etc. I will also try that HW Accel. fix and report back if it works for me, but for now Firefox is my go-to.

I will also add if you are having issues, Try Bigscreen's Discord for the fastest Solutions!!
