Is there a way to adjust the alignment of the mouse pointer and laser pointer?

I've been playing some point-and-click adventure games in SBS 3d recently, and one issue i have is that my mouse pointer doesn't align with the laser pointer. It's something I can get used to, but I feel I should be able to adjust the laser so that the mouse pointer lines up to it. Is this an option that I"m missing?

Please make sure you do not have mouse scaling set to anything other than 100% in Windows.

Where do I set that?
Also, my main monitor is a 2k monitor. Is that part of it?

You can set it in Settings > Ease of Access > Mouse Pointer.
You can also try using a lower resolution on your monitor or a different aspect ratio and see if that helps.

when I go to seeings, all I see are ""Account and Prefs, Graphics and Auality, Audio, Multiplayer, and Help

I think there should be an adjustment in-game. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I guess I'll try lowering the resolution in windows. It's unfortunate, but 1080p is till much higher than the native resolution of the game I'm playing, so that's fine.

As Bigscreen just streams your entire desktop, we have no control over individual elements such as your mouse cursor scaling and cannot do this in-game.

so with SBS 3d, I should have the mouse cursor line up with the laser pointer, yes? Guess I could turn down the screen size to see.

I tried changing the resolution of my monitor and no problem. Honestly, I haven't tried playing on non SBS 3d but I am using the HP Reverb G2 and the mouse pointer appears to be significantly shifted to the left compared to the laser and so I have to point off to the right in order to play games.
