how come other users can view my personal monitor?
I would think by saying personal monitor others couldn't see it. But i saw someone leaning over my shoulder and could see everything on my desktop. I assume by personal it meant just for me.

I see your point but I've been using this several years and it is working as always. It's a matter of semantics. They mean "personal" in that several of us in a room can all have our own personal monitors, i.e. we can each have our desktop displayed on a small monitor that we control but everybody in the room can see. For example I could show you my design for a widget on my personal monitor as you look over my shoulder and then you could show me your design for a widget on your personal monitor as I look over your shoulder. This as opposed to the "Big Screen" where there is only one for the room, not personal.

in 4 person rooms or less ANYONE can display the screen and also on the big screen. all 4 players. In 5 or higher only the host has that ability.

As someone else said already, 2-4 person lobbies are the only ones where you can share your screen as a guest, any rooms with higher player counts are just the host's desktop. In the smaller rooms you can disable your video feed and still use your personal monitor. It will still show a still frame of whatever you had open when you disable it however, at least it does for me.

Ahh, I tried to display a long time ago and didn't know you could actually display to others outside of being host. I assume they capped it due to bandwidth requirements or something?

Would had been great to just go join a random lobby with Nick playing in the background and let people just walk over and watch me play Overwatch or something.
