Another way is to just buy a digital copy of the movie online. I think Oculus also has a place to buy or rent movies into your device, that won't work for big screen though cause you can't play movies off your device.
You've got regular Bigscreen where you have user created rooms, where you can use whatever environment you want, and play whatever shows, games, or movies you want on the screen.
Then we have Bigscreen TV where you can join pre-setup rooms that are open all the time, and watch content streamed from sources like Pluto.TV and Twitch.
And then there's the upcoming Bigscreen Cinema, which is like TV, but for paid movie experiences.
another few revies said they couldn't watch the lobbies because the region locks (but then i did look at quite a few vr tv things so it might not be yours lol)
Some movies are restricted by region. While we'd love to have everything available everywhere, licensing is complex, and we're restricted to what we can get licences for, and what the studio has permission for.
apart from that i guess the matter is solved, thank you Peregrine
If you actually want to invest in some 3D movies, make sure you go for the ones that were made with 3D in mind and not just added id on top of the movie to make some cash.
Top Gun for example isnt a 3D movie but they did a little conversion, the effects there arent noticeable most of the time(but trust me, there is a difference).
Now, watch a 3D movie that was made like that since scratch and you will feel the effects right away

3.3 Acceptable Use Policy. The following terms constitute our “Acceptable Use Policy”:
(a) You agree not to use the Site to collect, upload, transmit, display, or distribute any User Content (i) that violates any third-party right, including any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, privacy right, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right;
This sounds like it does not meet the bigscreen terms of service.
"Our Channel is not interfering with any conventional home 3D market via TVs (broadcasting emissions or Blu-ray playback) and their profits. We are not their competitors. We are merely promoting and giving completely new users access to 3D technology. Potential income with publicity and other resources are to cover our costs. • Our goal is to demonstrate that the Media Industry could attain access to the global market with us through this new distribution channel, a real second chance for 3D technology • If you represent any company with the legal rights of some of the titles shown here, you can contact us via social media to request for more information or collaborate with us, or you can request that we delete any of the titles that you represent."
I admire the idea to bring more people to the joys of VR movies but surely the legal way is to buy a Blueray disc and do the conversion yourself (or watch in another persons room who has and is hosting in Bigscreen)? I may have torrented media in my life but never charging money and advertising it over the internet.
EDIT: You do have a very organized and useful list of 3D movies from 1915 to Now for people looking to build a collection of legally obtained media. I've been thinking about starting a collection and converting Blueray to SBS. It can be hard to find which videos are good quality 3d. Thank you.
