Bigscreen TV in private room?
Why can't I do this? why do I have to join a public? and why can't I choose what environment I want to sit in?

We hope to allow you to watch Bigscreen TV in your own rooms with the environment of your own choice, sometime in the future. Stay tuned for that!

What do you mean? I can host my own private room and watch my desktop by myself. I'm on the Oculus cv1

you can watch your desktop in private but you cant watch bigscreen TV or Bigscreen Cinema in private.

With Bigscreen Cinema you can do private screenings if you just join from the menu, where it's only you, and any friends you give the room code to. You don't get to change the environment however.

There is a way to do it... Just download Pluto TV to your pc, then stream your pc in private.

Wait, I thought there use to be password rooms? I remember going into my friends room and entering a password.

You can have private user created rooms. Bigscreen TV and Bigscreen Cinema work differently though.

Please add private cinemas. I don't want to watch a film with people I don' know.

You can already do Bigscreen Cinema in private. Just join the movie from the menu, and it will ask if you want a private or public showing.

Ah, OK, Thanks. I have only seen the 3D trailers, and they don't ask about it. I'll watch a full film to try... :)
