3D Blu-rays?
I have a few 3D Blu-rays and thought that I might be able to watch them on the Vive using something like Bigscreen but it seems I can't. So far I can see my only option is to rip the Blu-ray disc to my hard drive and then play it in a media player like VLC in Bigscreen.

Does anyone know an easier way?

For most 3d videos i use TotalMedia Theatre 6, tried with 3d vision monitor and big screen and work with both, i have issues some time ago and a couple of blurays dont work with total media, tried with power dvd (maybe 14, not sure i dont have now installed) and work with it.
Even i tried Kodi with big screen and works too if you play directly the files into the bluray ( menus do weird stuff most times).

I hope this work for you. Regards.

This can be done without too much trouble and zero cost.

I found a method online on Tom Chapin's blog[www.tchapin.com] which allows you to watch 3D Blu-ray discs without having to rip and reencode them. Follow the instructions and it will work.

The only thing I did differently is not install the K-Lite codec pack. I already had powerdvd 12 installed so all codecs I needed were already available and MPC-HC was already installed as well.

I'm been trying to do the exact same thing all day today.

Drgnkght's suggestion worked great.
