Second Monitor Big Display

Is it currently possible/planned to make it possible to have a second monitor displayed on the big screen instead of just the primary screen? I enjoy putting shows or other misc entertainment on my second monitor and keeping my work on my main monitor.

Not an answer to your question exactly, but I think this will put you on the right path. Yours should be even easier because you actually have real monitors & dont have to fake it.

Yeah I'm really surprised this still isn't a feature especially with all the recent updates. I went back in after a large gap of usage and was surprised amidst all the changes that I still couldn't do this.

Is this possible now? I haven't played around with bigscreen much so I'm kinda in the dark here. Anyhoo, I would love to use my second monitor on the big display and I see there seems to be a box for it in the settings, but I can't actually checkmark it for it go active.

Am I doing something wrong or is this something that still hasn't been implemented?

This is not something that's currently possible. As PJblue said over 2 years ago, it was something we might look into adding. We've looked into it, and due to a number of reasons, it's something we've decided not to do for now. For most people, just moving what they want other people to see to their primary monitor works fine, and that isn't enough, you can always switch which is your primary monitor in Windows.

Yea, I am not sure I understand why this isn't implemented already as clearly part of the userbase wants this. It's baffling to me.

Is there is a technical issue with this or is it more in the realm of "we just dont feel like doing it because you can just go single screen before running it because we can't be assed to do it because that is inconvenient for us"?

Virtual Desktop lets you put primary secondary up at the same time as one continuous monitor. It's nice.
