Stop opening automatically

How can I get Bigscreen to stop loading automatically when I open a non VR application in VR? It seems to conflict with many other games I play in VR using vorpX and even Half Life 2 beta VR. I have to uninstall Bigscreen each time I want to ♥♥♥♥ around with them.

Whaaaat?! That's not even a feature of Bigscreen. I have no idea how that could happen. Are you sure you're talking about Bigscreen and not the SteamVR Theater Mode app?

Maybe check your SteamVR settings? You might've somehow set Bigscreen to be your default Theater Mode app?

Thanks for the info. Think I got it working now with the information you gave regarding it not being a Bigscreen feature.

In VR Dashboard there's an option to choose which application to launch when loading non VR games in VR. By default it was SteamVR Theater but seems at some point I must have changed that to Bigscreen Beta so any time I opened a game with the intention of using VorpX it would load the game with VorpX then load Bigscreen which would then crash.

Don't have to keep installing and uninstalling Bigscreen now :D

tell me what you changed in order to stop this, please, please elaborate. I cannot find this and I have been looking for it for weeks, please tell me what you changed to make it stop.

Every freaking time I launch something in vr or launch a vr application without my headset enabled I have to wait a full two minutes for bigscreen to start up so I can close it, I am so tempted to uninstall bigscreen.
