(Dead rising 2)Microsoft wants to verify games release date......

so when i first downloaded it the game goes and does the normal first time installation crap and then comes a popup from windows live that goes and says it needs to verify the games release date. So i click continue and then it says that its working then the window just closes. so then i go and go into the games properties to validate the game cache to get that message thing again. so it gives me the message again every time i validate the game cache but it still has the same problem and doesnt do the thing. anyone know how to fix this? please help ive wasted like 2 hours of my time trying to fix but i cant seem to find one. thanks for help if you do help me.

I'm having the exact same problem. I have windows live, I've updated it and everything. But the verify release date screen keeps popping up every time I try to play. Anybody else having this problem?

i will but i havnt been able to find much on this. the best ive found has been stuff about like peoples thing stop responding there isnt anything that gives me info on my exact problem but ya ill message u guys if i find a fix! :D

im woundering if its got to do with the storm in nyc because its the first time ive ever heard of this problem or it could be coincidence but either way its kind of annoying

I'm having the same issue, it use to tell me that windows life was vertifying the game, no personal info was being sent blah and blah. However now it just closes whenever I try to launch, I have a friend with the exact issue, would like to hear a few fixes.

I am aswell i have Gotten past the Microsoft live and whenever it starts up it doesn't start the game it says on my Steam Friends list It says i am playing it then after 4-6 seconds it turns off Please help

Pressing enter, gets you through the veracity check.

Hey i found a fix hope it helps.. all you have to do is download game for windows and sign into your account then start the game up and it should start =)

I did the dpi scaling thing and it worked for me. Also have you signed up for GWL?

u tried starting games for windows first right?

I just verified the game files in steam. That fixed this problem for me.
