Bosses are too hard
I try doing the bosses like antone and the hostesses but their way too hard to kill and then i have to go to the last restroom I went to. I had 2 shotguns and the LMG with a pistol and they still don't die

You have to die multiple times. You can't do everything like that it's a special kind of gameplay. It's made so every game is different

thats the thing though i cant cause i dont have long to get there and dont want to waste all of my good weapons

This game is poorly designed. The jump kick has such a horrible delay at the end that its utterly useless. The same goes for the dodge roll, you're frozen for a good 2 seconds before you can move. This always results in dodging one attack and being a sitting duck for the next one. Its horrible. You character is so damn slow, i have 2 speed upgrades right now and he is so damn slow. The zombies dont seem to bother the bosses much either, im getting swarmed while they stand in the middle of a group taking pot shots (slappy, those 4 redneck ♥♥♥♥ etc). The guy in the chapel and sisters would hit me behind cover, or while im in mid vault over a wall because, again, he is slow as ♥♥♥♥. Now you also do very little damage, i dont want to hear about replays when my laser sword looses to some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bowie knife. Its painfully frustrating to have to close the distance to someone shooting at you and being completely unable (without the aid of quickstep) to maneuver and dodge your way to them. Again the dodge roll just leaves you vulnerable to a follow up attack, its useless. There are plenty of other annoyances i face in the game and ill take the blame for my gameplay, however i find it foul how slow and immobile you are in respect to the psychos.
I respect everyone's opinions in how they feel about games, but I must ask you to Stop copy & pasting the same message, Thank you.

Yes they should of had Sandbox mode in DR2 so you could level up before story
(i'm usually at least level 25 before i tackle story fully)
but for DR2 i started at level 5 straight from case zero and had just enough time
(with quicksteps) to do almost everything prob just missed a few surviviors.

And i haven't Died ONCE not since DR1. Yes i've come close many times but i have always found health if i ran out of painkillers/quicksteps so i have never died in Case Zero, Case West DR2 or off the record.
i don't even know what the game over screen looks like.
(screen goes red and askes you to load?)
See i'm just guessing cause i never seen it just assume it the same from DR1.

You think DR2 is hard wait till off the record where every zombie is way more aggressive and you have hostile Survivor Rebecca coming at you with a LMG and you can't gib her or knock her down trying to hit her (one of the times i almost died) cause i couldn't knock her down to give myeself a sec to drink my quicksteps since she straight up broke my hummer with her infinite bottomless LMG even though i had the 4 wheel magazine.

Or how about Case West where you getting shot at every 2 second DR2 is easy as ♥♥♥♥, wear the ninja outfit if you having such a hard time will be basically god mode. (except bosses)

Yes it's stupid the LMG and knife gloves are so weak but after the mega man buster could cleave a boss in 1 or 2 hits in DR1 they prob decided to make the bosses not so easy to kill.

(the only psychopath that pissed me off was the chef cause he just runs away to regain health and pins you down all the while you just have to sit there and take it playing single player, the whole time i was thinking oh crapcom punishing me for playing single player like i ALWAYS have)
No one i know got it day one like me and i wasn't going to play with randoms my first time through.

Hint Hint use the LightSaber and you only have to kill ONE of them.
i thought i had to kill them both first time too and thought i was outmatched but then i remembered i was Chuck Greene with knife gloves and a freakin lightsaber.
(You should always keep a lightsaber and knife gloves on you for bosses cause if one isn't effective the other one most times will be)

Oh, hi Dave Mar 12, 2015 @ 4:18pm
I'll confess, I never beat DR1. Between the time limit and stiff controls, I gave up long before my 360 gave up on me. DR2, on the other hand, made things muuuuch easier for Chuck Greene. The secret is to find the right weapon and drink combos. The knife gloves are amazing for fast attacks, especially when combined with mixed drinks that increase your movement speed or damage mitigation.
Experimentation and exploration really are the keys to gliding through this game. Check posters and displays for combo cards; grab a ton of food and start trying combinations in the blender.

This game is not designed to be a use guns on bosses game. You have to use your crafted weapons those are the ones that do a lot of damage. Use the laser sword it does a lot of damage especially if you have the ninja suit. If you are having a hard time with bosses restart the story and level up some more. You really should get to the level cap of 50 before trying to go through the entire story mode. With the twins just focus on 1 because all you have to do is kill one and the other will kill herself in a cut scene. Plus always carry at least 3 to 4 painkillers for the twins. Painkillers will restore most of your health and it reduces damage done to you by 50%. To make the painkiller go to the bar in the Americana Casino (or any bar for that matter) and combine 2 bottles of vodka in the blender. Quick step is good too. It increases your speed by 3x. Quick step is 2 bottles of wine combined in the blender. Special unlockable outfits can help too. The Ninja outfit will increase damage done with any sword weapon. The sports fan outfit will increase damage with any sports related weapons like the knife gloves. DLCs are good to buy too. If you where 1 piece from each dlc outfit you will the benefits from each costume, such as reduced damage from fire and electric and increased damage with certain weapon types. To be honest I dunno what you are talking about with the knife gloves being weak they do a ton of damage unless you only have a scratch card and you can only do the weak attack with them. Don't use weapons that you don't have the combo card for because they will be much weaker. Weapons that you have unlocked combo cards for do a lot more damage. To be honest the twins are not that hard in all my play throughs of this game I think I may have died once or twice on them. I think your strategy is just flawed. Using the LMG is your first mistake because like I said this is not a blow everything and everyone away with a gun game. The guns are fairly weak unless you have the six shooter or sniper rifle. Now if you do have a few shotguns it will help against the twins but a strong attack with the laser sword will do way more damage than one shot from the shotgun or multiple shots from the LMG. Don't be so dependent on guns because it will not help that much. Even on the case where you are on the train I find it easier to run up to the mercenaries and hit them with a laser sword. Laser swords kill mercenaries in 1 to 2 hits whereas the LMG will take 10. The bosses are not that hard other than the chef psycho and the final boss of the game. Your problem is the way you are trying to fight the twins.
Warrior of Right Mar 13, 2015 @ 4:21am
You don't have to be level 50 like Doc said but being at least 40 will make it really easy
(specially since DR2 is so easy)
Like he said only gun that really helps for psycho paths is the shotgun (and i only use shotgun and other guns on the biker since he likes to just drive away while you hitting him)

The sports fan outfit let's you run faster so you can catch up to them easier and also makes you immune to alcohol effects so you can keep drinking them without vomiting in the twin fight.
(i didn't know it also increased knife glove effectiveness or forgot)

Most people haven't finished the first DR, lots of them started with 2 cause it was easier and more popular then. (also the fact that they gave it away for free on addbox 360)
i only have 1 buddy that actually playes DR series, most others will play garbage like walking dead survival instinct than try DR.
(not that i necessarily blame them not like DR has a riveting story plus they don't answer ♥♥♥♥ with the story either but they try way worse games instead)

Walking Dead Survival Instinct HAA!!!!. There is good and not good, and that game is not good. When I bought it on sale for 5 bucks I said to myself yeah this is just barely worth 5 dollars.

What's your level? Those bosses are considered some of the hardest in the game, fighting them at Lvl. 15 with three guns won't do anything dude.

i think i just saw an angry joe video of it and saw him just knifing in the head hoards of zombies that walk right into it or walking into fences.

The one thing i saw though that will stick with me and made me ROR was he was holding the knife like an assault rifle and taking any route but the direct one was a waste of fuel and resources sending out survivors cause they just come back with a single bottle of gaterade :Froglet:.
(You know a game not going to be good when they still have the TV station logo in the title)
