No button to invite friends to CO-OP
Me and a friend bought two copies of the game while it was on sale. We got through the part where it begins to enable coop and whatnot, but there isn't a button to invite each other or anything. Not through steam, not through the game. I could be overlooking something so if someone knows how tell me. It'd be appreciated.

This is unfortunate because it happens to both me and my friend so it hinders us from playing the game entirely. :/

Press and Hold C in game....

The thing is when you open friend list holding C or right on D-pad or from options, you see your friends name, but sometimes theres no button to press so you could send invite to game to your friend, and sometimes the list is empty, not sure whats up with that, it just likes to work when it wants.

I had same problem yesterday, while trying to set up game with a friend, and when everything else failed we just tried to search in public search for others game, and somehow it worked.

So if everything else fails, just try to host a game and tell your friend to search public games or other way around and after a few tries u might find your friend and you could play together.

Good luck, as it seems this game is based on luck when it comes to finding online games.

Can't invite even though I can see friends on the friends screen. Reinstalling right now - hopefully that helps.

We had this too - the problem was we were not far enough in the game to have unlocked coop apparently. We were informed of coop once we reached the safehouse, and the invite button appeared.

We got way past the initial safehouse part in my case, though. Maybe mine just glitched and I gotta start over idk

Same problem happened to me, but things going wrong, i got 4 friends playing this game on the steam friend list, but none of them listed in the game that i'm trying to join, they already pas the safehouse scene and waiting me to join the actual gameplay.

Weird how this is a thing, must have been a bug created from the transition to steam works or something. Dead Rising 2 off the record isn't like this though, so well theres that.
