PC Settings Menu Issue

When I enter the PC settings menu to change my graphics, it freezes and doesn't let me change it.
Anyone know why, or how I can fix this?

I'm using Windows 11. i had to manually change my settings in the Dead Rising 2 Game files.

My path to it from file explorer was a shortcut from Documents. Next open a folder labelled 'my games'. Finally open the 'Dead Rising 2' folder. There should be a file called rendersettings.ini - you can manually change graphic settings. Next time you boot up the game they should have changed in ingame settings aswell.

for me it freezes at anytime i click when the game opens, if i click to skip the intro/logos it freezes there, if i click on the menu it freezes there, basically i cannot interact or it will freeze
