I have tried changing the audio and will not work, I have done the directx update and the vcredist_x86 and keep getting the same issue. Any help? Thanks.

Oh wow sorry I just posted the same thing. What are your specs? Im thinking it it could be a hardware issue (either insufficient or does not recognize)

The only thing different I'm getting from you is the Access violation code and the Memory section which produces "Already handled exception - halting. (new exception = Access Violation)" I've tried all the solutions as you :/

ryzen 5 1600 cpu
16bg gksill ram
gtx 1050 ti ssc
not sure of brand but a 250gb ssd
external 4tb drive that my steam games are on (but all of the other one run fine on)
Asus - VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor

Dead Rising 2 has an issue where the game wont launch properly if it's not installed on the drive windows is on, try to move it if you can. as this produces a similar error. I have already tried this to no avail.

Do you have Off the Record? for some reason that one works for me, and it improves on the original game if you like Frank West

I ended up uninstalling and putting it on a different drive and ended up working for me

I can't open de game when i started dont start.
I have off the record and i can play it but i cant save the game some one can help me?¿
