The base game is no longer in Early Access. Supposedly, it's a released game. The 2 week update cycle is very disruptive for the folks who aren't ready for or interested in Spaced Out, particularly when the updates break mods that people are playing with, and there's not really a good way to avoid taking the update which don't meaningfully enhance what we already have. Many of the "bug fixes" that have been rolled out to the base game during these updates are to fix breakage to the base game from merging the two codebases (descriptions that only apply to Spaced Out and such). If you're don't want to add features to the base game, that's your prerogative, but please give us a beta tag or something so we don't have to keep lurching forward with constant useless updates.

I agree with the general sentiment, but none of my mods seem to have broken with this update.
Can we just have a way to limit container storage not just by type of the item, but also by the weight of an item? Would love to be able to program a single box to hold a predictable amount of specified items.
Thanks for the new update! If I could suggest, please focus on FPS performance issues for the final release. It can be quite disruptive late game.
Hey I was wondering if when someone dies if they can stop coming up in the cot assignment it really confuses me when I'm trying to heal my occupants.

Never had this issue. I guess I am using far less mods or something?
They need to finish the dev cycle and patch it to release. I won't touch this as long as it's in early access. breaking the base game in the process of each EA patch is really bad :( They should have a separate release branch for the DLC and the base game - this is amateur game dev practice - I'm staying away until release.

I think this is better than anything out there. I have ridiculous hours in this and just as I think I've played it out, they add more. So I am drawn to start it again.

True, I'll start it as well, but not like this, and not while it's in the dev cycle.
I'm looking forward to the polish and bug squashing, some are quite distracting.

- Dupes teleporting or jittering in/out of doors or several blocks away instead of being stuck inside like the critters do.

- Dupes catching breath doesn't use oxygen; Brothgar proved that you can have a huge amount of dupes and never need any oxygen production at all as long as you're careful. Though, this is long-standing.

- Building outlines often disappear when moving the mouse around.

As far as features go, I was hoping that the base game would get some disease love, so that doctors have a reason to exist, even if only through harder difficulty. Things like spreading certain diseases to each other when they cough nearby, puking if they stay food poisoned too long, something they get after having 'Major Eye Irritation' too long, or other such things. My thoughts on this are more Rimworld-esque where certain ailments can just debilitate, but worse ones can cause them to need to be in hospital or will get worse and eventually die.
