Polymer Press immediately melting plastic into naphtha at low temperatures
As the title says, it has me so confused, I know it can happen when the press is too hot, but I have a cooling loop keeping it under 50C, I honestly don't know what is going on.

The Steam overlay creates JPEGs, as will most other tools. It is also easier to use Steam-based screenshots here than stuff on third-party image sites.

I can't seem to drag and drop the jpg here, I have posted the screen shot on my profile.

You've got the polymer press surrounded by abyssalite or insulated tiles, and your cooling loop appears to be in the air without a tempshift plate or drywall or something to help move heat around. Consider something more like:

(You can copy and paste the URL ending in id=XXXX, and Steam will display it as above.)

I was wondering if it had something to do with the surrounding wall, I like to use the abyssalite for insulation and had not calculated the heat reflecting back from it.

Thank you my dude, ONI is an ongoing problem solver and I love it.
Also thank you for showing me how to post pics!

UPDATE: This appears to have nothing to do with location and everything to do with the latest DLC. I never had this problem before and now the internal process of the Polymer Press, and Ronivian's Carbon Recycler, are internally superheating that Plastic is being melted into Naphtha and Graphite is being cooked into Refined Carbon.
