lead tiles have no effect on radiation
the radiation reach from the crashed satellite is exactly the same before and after I build the 3 lead tile barrier

stands to reason that radiation should not get past the lead?

With the radiation overlay enabled, hover your mouse over tiles to find out how much radiation a material blocks.

Yes, lead tiles are better than other materials -except neutronium- at blocking radiation.
