Pipes constantly breaking, cold damage, no reason for it
I'm feeding water in at 86 degrees into a couple AETN's and the tungsten pipes are constantly taking cold damage. The environment isn't that cold and the liquid isn't at freezing.

What the heck is wrong here?

Vaccum maybe? Vaccum has strange effects on the temperature calculation sometimes because it's considered 0 ... 0 Mass, 0 Temperature (or better -217.15°C). Is there low pressure or even vaccum there? Maybe it's space tile? It's even more strange with those because they remove matter from the tile but not instantly. If not forget this than it's something else ... just an idea.

No it isn't vaccum

Thats happened to me over the course of the last few updates. It seems to only happen on the same tile, so just re-route your gas/liquid pipes around the broken ones.

vacuum is actually 0 everything. however, it also insulates - a hot item can not bleed off heat and if its heated it will cause it to break. but this should not happen to liquids, especially with cold damage.

Sometimes when you place pipes, they are buggy. They are at absolute zero (0 K), and will suck the heat out of any gas or liquid, causing phase change and damage. Demolish them and replace, it should fix it.
