TrailBlazer will not work!

I'm currently orbiting a newly discovered planet, I have a trailblazer module built with the ship and a dupe sitting in the cockpit, the option to deploy a trailblazer is greyed out, don't even get the option to say which dupe I was to be in the trailblazer.

I'm really confused because I've already done this before in the same game file, it's just not working right now

Maybe you forgot to reload the trailblazer module with a lander after the last time you used it? I'm pretty sure I saw a button that says something about reloading the lander on my trailblazer module when I was landed at my home planet. I didn't need to use it since I had only just built the trailblazer module and never deployed it, but I assume you have to use it after you have used the module before you can use it again.
