Mac OS X missing executable error

When trying to start the game, I see an error "An erro occured while updating Oxygen not included (missing executable)"
When I go to the game folder it's empty - just a 'EmptySteamDepot' which is empty too.
Any ideas?

Because nothing you can do will fix it. It isn't available on mac yet. Wait for the devs to actually get round to releasing a mac build.

It literally just showed itself as available on mac. I know this, because I have a mac - and one day it wasn't there, and then the next it was. I downloaded it and then got this error. It's not an "us" problem, it's a "them" problem. The dev team ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, so calm your ass down - because you come off as kinda hostile. lol

The problem is this isn't the first time this has been reported. And for that matter another game I know of had the same "problem" which was more down to valve allowing the game to be downloaded onto a platform (mac) that the game was never going to be released on.

At least ONI is officially going to be released right? And we have a right to be annoyed when people don't search to see if the problem has been reported before and why it still exists.

Everytime I have seen this pop up it has been a valve problem not the dev team problem. It shouldn't show up unless a verison of the game has been uploaded to the valve content servers (which it clearly hasn't).
