Insatiable Hunger from stress eating may be broken.
The stat says that it subtracts 4kcals per cycle but I've watched this guy, at max stress (he ignored the massage tables, but that's a whole other issue) eat 20kcals in a single cycle.

This is definately broken... One of my dupes is eating literally everything... Completely drained a full refridgerator and has moved on to the ration box.

Edit: Has continued to eat for 2 whole days without stopping...

yeah the 'stress consequences' move a problem into a game ending crisis.

A single dude vomiting 3500g of vomit nonstop for a day, a 'destructive' person who runs around damaging multiple things in the base for game hours, the nonstop food eater that clears out your base -

If you're already struggling, it's not really going to be a game enhancement to have AI that causes significant damage to your base.

Even the slightest issue will start the destructive cycle that ends up ruining your game. If it's self inflicted that's one thing, but I have had AI bugs and game bugs cause issue that end up ruining my play and that is hard to stomach.

Make paintings and massage tables. I used to undervalue them but if you pick a dupe whos very creative(at least 5 i think) they can reduce stress so much. Also set the tables to a priority 9 and set the start below 45. With that ive never had strees problems and im on day 550 right now

Best way to control stress is pace ur construction. When ur dupe stress is low, send them outside of the base to do whatever u are after. Once they are at risk lvls, leave them inside ur base and make modifications to it. Normally if u base is full of paintings and statues their stress should drop to 0 from 70 in like 1-2 cycles.

Have ur beds, tables, massage tables use the painting on top and 2 statues next to each painting for high stress drop.

I'm at day 165 and having the same issue. I went from 100K kcal supply to 0 in ~10 cycles, and it's basically impossible to produce enough food. Vascillating generally from ~45 to 100 stress in a cycle or two is just too difficult to manage. Needs balancing.

It actually says in the tooltip for binge exactly how much it will drain per day. 4kcal per day. I'm stating here that the dupe won't stop when it hits that. It's a bug. This is a bug report. Why aren't people reading this thread correctly?!

The release of the Binge Eater trait was on May 18th which hardly constitutes the phrasing of using the word "months."

Binge eater is dangerous but there are ways to prevent it and stop.

Ex: have ur food in a lockable door.
